An Exercise in Staying Grounded
I feel like I need to re-group in a way. Come back to Earth and re-align with myself and my goals. My goals, dreams, personal progress are the entirety of my foundation and the foundation of my relationships with others. I can feel myself letting these things fall to the way-side as I let myself wade into the the deep, tempting stream of emotionally driven decisions. It's time to walk back to shore for a bit.
Health
- Prioritize Sleep. Begin taking this seriously again and track via Rise app or FitBit. No medication/caffeine after 4pm. Eat before 10. This is an extreme foundation of health that I have been neglecting for months and then wonder why I feel like absolute shit most days.
- Get to 115. Currently I am at 129 and am going to continue eating vaguely keto (which has worked wonders) and exercising/running daily. Just 15 lbs to go!
- Begin weight training/dead-lifting.
- OBGYN appointments. Figure out what's going on with my right side, either ovaries or scar tissue.
- Eye appointment. Lasik.
- Vitamins. Take these daily.
- Take better care of skin and hair.
Parenting
- POTTY TRAINING. Get S potty-trained by December. Take a whole weekend and prioritize this.
- Set a routine schedule with M, which days of the week. Safety-proof his house.
- Work on relationship with M, try to work on reacting out of anger and arguing in front of S.
- Less sugar, more exercise and out of the house!
- Better night time routine. Move bedtime back to 9pm in her OWN bed.
- Look for better pre-k.
Work
- Wake up earlier and begin earlier.
- Come up with personal approach.
- Gain confidence.
